Logistic Flows Balancer – web page

If you have several location in a country, for example HUBs or terminals (big warehouses) that they need to be connected…an efficent and easy way to do it is my new program: “Logistic Flows Balancer”.
It selects the points that have an excess of trucks to be sent to nearest point (that lacks of trucks).

in Addresses form you can open an Excel file (97-2003 version) with your input addresses like: City-Address-Postal Code (from the first row).

Then, from the “Distance matrix” you can open always an Excel file with the matrix of the input addresses.

In the “Flows matrix” you can open the matrix with the “FROM\TO” flows between the addresses you have chosen.

In the end, you can click on “Balance” and you get the “inbound” and “outbound” flows for each locations.

The button “Run” and “list” are available only for the Pro version: with them you need to have installed “Microsoft MapPoint 2006″. “List” prints an excel file with the results “from address X…to address Y, distance: Z”. “Run”, instead, is able to calculate automatically the distance between the addresses using MapPoint.
